Geez, after such a nice mea culpa I'm almost hesitant to note that after Jake made that speech he and the gal kissed and then he dropped her into the mud. She jumped up and joined (with an M16) the police firing at the brothers as they raced out of the tunnel. The rocket was much earlier in the movie. Sorry...

Nice to see someone in a leadership position admit to being wrong.

As for crowding down the post with new posts, here are a couple facetious suggestions - Why don't you temporarily turn this space into a photo blog? Or do profiles of you employees - I'm sure that'll boost morale.

Well, I'm not sure you should apologize for calling Apple a marketing "bully". After all, half of Apple's adverts are snarky shots at Microsoft. So Apple certainly behaves like a bully. Or maybe a self-centered brat.

Aw shucks, now I feel bad; I was just trying to push the discussion forward. As penance, here are some (not very good) post ideas:

1) What if the outrageous Citi bailout were a venture deal? (i.e. Who on earth would pay $27B for some preferred stock in a company worth $20B total?)

2) Facebook apps, iPhone apps, now what? What's the next Internet gold rush? And do people ever really strike it rich in these land grabs, or is it like the original 1849 gold rush, where the only people who got rich were those who provided goods and services to the miners? The old saw is that the ones who did well were those who "mined the miners"; in modern times that would be the infrastructure providers: Joyent, Apple, Amazon, and sundry tools companies.

3) How to foster an environment where your employees are willing to contradict you publicly on your blog and whether that's even a good thing.
