It's arguable that the best relationships of any kind are such as well. Forget words du jour like synergy, conflict is needed and valuable. I've seen VC guys be passionate, and I've seen successful entrepreneurs be calculating and dull. In the end, as long as the balance is right, you've got a fighting chance.
