Love it or hate it, chances are you or someone you know is planning their night around the finale of “The Bachelor” on March 11. Now in its 17th season, “The Bachelor” is a phenomenon that won’t be going away anytime soon; the last hometown date episode was watched by 9.2 million people, and it wasn’t even a finale.

This season stars Sean Lowe, a successful businessman and entrepreneur, who got a second chance at love when he was invited back as “The Bachelor” after being eliminated from the eighth edition of “The Bachelorette.” The life-long Texan owns and operates an upscale, custom furniture business in Forney, TX, outside of Dallas. So far he has narrowed down his choices to two lovely ladies, Lindsay and Catherine.

Catherine is a 26-year-old beauty from Seattle – our hometown! She is a visual designer for Amazon, and according to Wetpaint, before that she “graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2004, Washington State University in 2008, and jumped right into an illustrious career in advertising, working for Seattle’s renowned Wexley School for Girls.” Her Seattleite blogger profile says “Like a true Seattleite, she owns Birkenstocks, rides the Metro and loves the smell of rain.”

Lindsay is a 24-year-old substitute teacher from Fort Bragg, North Carolina. According to Wetpaint, she attended the University of Nevada in Reno, though her degree remains a mystery. She comes from a military family and describes herself as a small town girl.

Sean has made it pretty clear he intends to stay in Texas following “The Bachelor,” and the girls seem to be OK with that. Wherever they do settle, one thing is sure – their home will be full of beautiful furniture from Sean’s company, The Factory Girl!

We want to help them out with a few recommendations for homes around Dallas that fit the modern-rustic-chic vibe of Sean’s current place, but with enough feminine touches to keep Catherine or Lindsay happy.

It might be awhile until they can afford this place, but after all the publicity Sean is going to receive, we’re guessing his business is going to pick up. This home sits in a serene wooded setting that will remind Catherine of Seattle and will have enough of a small town feel for Lindsay. Glass, stone and wood are key elements of the home and give it a natural feel that will blend perfectly with furniture from The Factory Girl. And the gargantuan closet just might be big enough to fit all of Sean’s clothes. The only hitch? It only has one bedroom, which means Sean, who is known as “the virgin Bachelor,” will have to sleep on the couch until the wedding.

This beautiful home sits right on the edge of Possum Kingdom Lake (gotta love that name!). It has an upscale rustic cabin style and is far enough from Dallas to feel like it’s in the country – something Lindsay will appreciate! The kitchen has been updated with modern amenities, so Catherine can test out her vegan recipes with quality appliances. Sean will enjoy the manly man cave, with a pool table and flat screen TV. And best of all, there are two master suites, so each person can have their own room until the wedding!

This home may be a bit more in their price range. It’s a beautiful downtown Dallas loft with an open floor plan, exposed brick walls and lots of light. There’s a large gym where Sean can work out, and a rooftop pool where Catherine can soak in the sun; not something she’ll find in Seattle! There are double doors that open to a greenbelt, where Lindsay can get some fresh air when she’s tired of the city.
