Mega movie star Matt Damon put his 12,705-square-foot home in Miami Beach on the market for $20 million back in April. After sitting seven months unsold, the property just dropped in price by about a million dollars, now listed at $18,999,000. The house is located on the prestigious upper North Bay Road where Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriquez and Calvin Klein are said to have lived.
Damon, known for his popular roles in the “Bourne” series and “Good Will Hunting,” has quite the beach retreat. The home has 170 feet of water frontage on Biscayne Bay, with unobstructed views of downtown Miami. It features seven bedrooms, ten baths, and a separate guest house. It comes with a home theater, wine cellar, rooftop terrace over looking the water, and an outdoor bar and dining area.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the actor created the home on two parcels he bought in 2005, and paid about $14.5 million for both. Last year the super-star purchased a sprawling 8,890 square foot mansion in Pacific Palisades, right next door to his Academy Award winning partner-in-crime Ben Affleck. The price tag? $15 million. With six bedrooms, eight baths, and a half acre corner lot, Matt will be assuming a Bourne (Rich) Identity.
