Nick Jonas, who recently split from his boy band to pursue TV and movie roles like “Hawaii Five-O” and “Careful What You Wish For,” must have decided he needs a place in Los Angeles to call his own. The 21-year-old crooner just purchased a Spanish-style villa overlooking the Sunset Strip for $3.2 million. It’s the perfect place for Jonas and his girlfriend, former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, to settle down.
The house is set behind large gates and is covered by lush foliage, offering plenty of privacy for the famous pair. It comes with four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and spans 2,305 square feet. The master suite is the “ultimate oasis” according to the listing description, with high ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, luxurious master bath with sunken tub, and of course a large walk-in closet. The home is perched on top of a hill, with panoramic views from downtown L.A. to the ocean.
The home was built in 1938 and includes many original details, included leaded windows, beamed ceilings and period tile. It is great for entertaining, with a spacious dining room, gourmet kitchen, and an outdoor fireplace with intimate seating. There’s also a guest house with a kitchenette. The home was purchased under “Mammoth Meridian Trust Two.” The trustee is Glenn Nordlinger, who manages the Jonas Brothers.
Nick purchased the home from Robin Ruzan, an actress who was once married to Mike Myers. She appeared in “Wayne’s World” and the “Austin Powers” movies.
The home isn’t far from where he lived with brothers Joe and Kevin, before they were famous. The old Jonas Brothers’ home is located in Toluca Lake, CA, about seven miles away.
What do you think of the home? Is it the kind of home you imagined Nick would choose?
