Harry Shum Jr., known for his role as Mike Chang on “Glee,” just bought a single family home in La La land for $997,000. The actor is a dancer on and off the air, and will now have plenty of room to dance the night away, with 1,821 square feet, three bedrooms and 2.25 bathrooms. According to the listing, the home was built in 1937, with high ceilings, hardwood floors and detailed molding. A gaming room and outdoor dining patio make great spots for Shum to privately rendezvous with his co-stars!
The home was originally listed back in November of 2013, until the Costa Rican born actor scooped up the Los Angeles property this February. Fun Fact: Harry Shum Jr. speaks both Chinese and Spanish! Shum purchased the home under “Primera Real Estate”; the trustee is Andrew K. Meyer, a business manager for many celebrities, including cast members from the “Twilight” films, and TV series “True Blood” and “The Office.”
Redfin real estate agent Alec Traub toured the home himself, and left the following Tour Insight:
“Well maintained home with character and curb appeal on a quiet street close to Barham and the 101. Great bonus room on the downstairs level off the backyard that could have a number of possible uses.”
Looks like Harry has a lot of space in that gaming room. What kind of games would you have on hand for playtime?
