The co-creator of “Seinfeld” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” just unloaded his Pacific Palisades property for $12 million. While David’s shows most likely made you chuckle at some point between 1989 and today, there really is nothing to laugh about when it comes to the home he lived in since the early ‘90s, which is actually incredibly charming.
According to the listing, the Gated Country English Estate is located in the prestigious Pacific Palisades, where celebrities like Matt Damon and Kurt Russell also live. The seven bedroom and 10 bathroom home looks wonderfully warm, with beautiful dark wood accents and hardwood floors. It’s the perfect home for hosting Festivus for the rest of us! (And if you didn’t get that reference, you have to see the episode). The estate also includes a large guest house, a pool, and awesome ocean and canyon views.
The home was originally listed for $14.999 million back in March of 2013, but buyers didn’t bite. So, Larry curbed that price down to $12.995 million, about $2 million less than the original asking price. A buyer snagged the home at a final price cut for $12 million and with that extra cash in pocket, the buyer has something to dance about, but hopefully they have better moves than Elaine.
It looks like you can buy a lot when you create a show about nothing! What do you think of the home?
