Eva Mendes is cutting ties with the manse she owned with her former beau.
The actress officially unloaded the three-bedroom, two-bathroom Los Angeles property for $1,278,630. Mendes co-owned the crib with her now ex-boyfriend George Augusto. They bought the place for $584,000 when they started dating in 2002.
According to the listing, the midcentury sanctuary has undergone a decade-long renovation process. It offers a lot of private tranquility, with beautifully designed gardens and city views. The listing photos show off the home’s most impressive characteristics, displaying chic décor, European lighting and a mix and match of posh patterns. Other key features include fruit trees, raised vegetable boxes and chickens! Imagine Ms. Mendes going to fetch some eggs for breakfast!
Mendes and Augusto split in 2010, but the home didn’t hit the market until March of this year. The actress has since moved on and started dating “The Notebook” heartthrob Ryan Gosling. The two connected while filming the actress’ most recent film, “A Place Beyond the Pines.” It seems like they’re doing well, as rumors are flying that the two are secretly engaged. He was recently spotted at her current residence in Los Angeles, a four-bedroom, four-bathroom home she purchased in 2008 for $3.219 million.
It looks like the acting beauty has a sense of humor to boot; she purchased her present home under a “Dr. Kenneth Noisewater Trust,” and if you’re an “Anchorman” fan, that name might ring a bell. In the movie, Ron Burgundy’s co-anchor, Brian Fantana, explains that Kenneth Noisewater is a nickname for his unmentionables. You stay classy, Eva Mendes!
