Sir Charles Barkley: Our Cutest Client Yet!

Last week was momentous for Redfin, and not just because we launched Redfin Hot Homes. We had the great honor of hosting Sir Charles Barkley, the world-famous French bulldog, at our headquarters in Seattle.

With more than 230,000 Instagram followers and sales of his “King County” tees taking off, Barkley was ready to upgrade his digs. He stopped by to consult with his Redfin real estate agent, Chad Dierickx, before buying a new home.

As we do with all of our celebrity pet clients, we rolled out the red carpet for Barkley’s arrival. As he entered the building, the paparazzi swarmed, and he was gracious enough to pose for a few photos with his adoring fans.

He then strolled around the office, getting belly rubs from all around. After raiding the treats in the kitchen, it was time to get down to business.

Dierickx reviewed Barkley’s price range, desired amenities and must-have home features before taking him out on home tours. Barkley was looking for a Craftsman-style home big enough to fit all of his dog toys, preferably in red. But that’s not all – as the ultimate 12th Dog, Barkley also wanted to see how his new home would look with the Seahawks’ Super Bowl XLVIII ring!

Dierickx snapped a few photos of the ring during every home tour they went on. When they finally found “the one,” the sparkles from all the diamonds were about as bright as the smile on Barkley’s face. Of course, he immediately uploaded a photo of his new place on Instagram!

We’re so happy we could help Sir Charles Barkley find his new home. Be sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, G+ and Twitter for more photos of his visit!
