		<description>I wrote the end of this post in a hurry, and I didn&#039;t want to go back &amp; edit &amp;  just cover over the fact that...uh...there are pretty sparse Federal tax incentives for  homeowners to develop wind and solar power.  Well.  Gee.  I wonder why that is?   

After reading more of this website, I want to look into solar water heaters; I think you use them inline with a tankless water heater -- if the solar water is 40 degrees coming in, and the sun heats it to 60 degrees, the tankless heater takes up the slack; but if the sun warms the water to higher temperatures, you might not run the tankless (gas) heater at all.  It&#039;s a great idea -- they work, and it could mean free hot water a significant percentage of the time, and maybe even extend the life of the water heater&#039;s element.  I think.</description>
