poetics aside, i&#039;d rather have the sun on the beach.  high rise towers can grant amazing views, regardless if you&#039;re half a block from the water, or 10 blocks from the water.  let the suckers on the lower floors with a view inside their neighbor&#039;s bedroom pay less, while the sea-faring high-ballers pay more.
chicago and its north suburbs are known and loved for the urban setting with a side of beach; no one wants sand that loses its sun at 6:00pm
