The Big Time Listings blog reports that professional poker player Annie Duke recently sold her Hollywood Hills home at a $10,000 loss. She bought the house at 1958 Outpost Circle, Los Angeles, in July 2005 for $2,850,000 and sold it in June for $2,840,000. It’s a 3,528-square-foot home (built in 1928), so it sold for $805 per square foot. The blog says the home’s original listing price was $3,250,000.

We’re sure someone as used to winning as Annie Duke can’t be thrilled about losing money. But we could find only two single-family homes in her immediate vicinity that sold in the last three months, so maybe she should consider herself lucky.

Here’s a snapshot of the activity in Duke’s old neighborhood, east of Runyan Canyon Park, the off-leash dog park frequented by celebs.
