Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on our lives and recognize what is really great. Unfortunately, for most, it hasn’t been the real estate market. However, here’s something to be thankful for if you live in the City of Orange: Orange has not suffered as much as some other OC cities. Below is a check on the market in Orange. Yes, it’s down, but down as much as other places… be thankful for that!
The current median home price in Orange is $691,985. There are 598 homes on the market with an average 92 days on the market (average days a home has to wait to be sold or taken off the market). The market action index has settled at 16, indicating a definite buyer’s market.

When I look at inventory on the market, I also like to check out properties that have been sitting on the market. These properties in Orange have been on hanging out for quite awhile (one almost two years!).
1245 East Palm Ave, Orange 92866; 3 bed/2 bath; 1,954 sq ft; $749,900; 599 days on the market
1926 East Mount Vernon Ave, Orange 92867; 3 bed/2 bath; 1,307 sq ft; $624,900; 450 days on the market
1425 East Sycamore Ave, Orange 92866; 4 bed/2.75 bath; 2,108 sq ft; $699,900; 427 days on the market
I’m not usually one to pull out the mushy poems… but today has my in an oddly inspired mood. Enjoy…
I’m Thankful for You
Thanksgiving is the appointed time
for focusing on the good in our lives.
In each of our days,
we can find small blessings,
but too often we overlook them,
choosing instead to spend our time
paying attention to problems.
We give our energy
to those who cause us trouble
instead of those who bring peace.
let’s be on the lookout
for the bits of pleasure in each hour,
and appreciate the people who
bring love and light to everyone
who is blessed to know them.
You are one of those people.
I’m thankful for you.
