This spacious remodeled rambler is in West Bellevue, a few blocks from Clyde Hill. Despite its humble exterior, the inside feels brand new–it’s dramatically clean and open, with beautiful wood floors, vaulted ceilings, skylights, lots of light and a very open floor plan. The kitchen has a row of upper cabinets with glass doors, so light shines through (provided you don’t fill those cabinets with lots of kitchenware to block the view). After seeing so many houses in this area that are either staged or very well decorated by the owners, I got the impression that this house would shine brightest with modern stylish furniture in place. Like a white Barcelona Daybed in the great room, perhaps?
The master bath was very nicely done, with a jetted tub, enclosed glass door shower, and vertical windows that frame the space very well. I really like the small horizontal windows in the master bedroom’s walk-in closet, too.
Downstairs, there’s a tremendous amount of space. It was surprising to me to see that the floor wasn’t completely finished when I visited during the open (partially tiled, but the rest is waiting for carpeting). But the space seems just about ready to become exactly what you want (a media room, big family room, office, etc.).
