My Seattle blogging colleagues and I began taking a real-estate fundamentals course this week, in preparation for sitting for the Washington State real-estate salesperson licensing exam.
One of the first lessons involved the extent of a parcel of real property. Turns out I not only own my house and its land, but also the sky above and soil below. Imagine a pyramid pointing up at the ionosphere and another one poking into the center of the earth.
