Green Lake, Woodland Park Zoo, Discovery Park, Ballard Locks- all good places for a hike or walk.
Best Features of the Home:
A 1905 Seattle classic, retaining many old world features. High ceilings and lathe and plaster walls. Storm windows throughout and very well insulated. “Airlock” vestibule entries front and back for additional energy efficiency. Bedrooms are large and all have walk in closets.
Big and bright living room with enough space for entertaining a crowd. Also has an angled brick fireplace with blower insert for warmth and coziness

Carpeted Rec/Office room added in the daylight basement. Laundry room, bath and shower added on the first floor. 3 decks added to first floor entries.
Most Romantic Spot:
Western exposure deck watching the sun go down over the Olympic Mountains.
What’s in the neighborhood?:
West Woodland Elementary School and Playfield. New shops and restaurants on 65th.
What I Will Miss the Most:
The 4200 square foot lot has a fenced side yard, garage and off street parking. There is lots of parking available on this quiet street. The placement of the house is very private and lives like an inner city retreat. The Ballard/Lower Phinney location is close in and ideal for access to everything. Only leaving after 30 years to move to our retirement home in Arizona.
