A Good Photo Can Make All the Difference

As I sat groggily looking at today’s Daily Stats, sipping on my too hot coffee in my too cold house, I clicked on the #5 entry at 907 El Capitan Drive in Danville and immediately was transported. In fact, I was ready to go get my bathing suit on and dive into the pool. The photo shows a bright sunny day, a gleamingly blue pool and spa, and a great space to entertain. Granted it is not the typical front view shot that pops up, although that is available in the 9 photo shots available. But I think the fact that it was a bit different, that made me stop, made me want to read about it, and made me look at all the photos.

Now the home looks to be in a development (HOA fees of $244), where there might be a bit of the cookie-cutter rancher thing going on, and I am not familiar with the area, although Danville has always been a very desireable city to live in. Which is why it seems strange that this 3,221 square foot, 6 bedroom/3bath home prices out at only $372/square foot. While the price $1,199,000 is not unusual for a home in the Bay Area anymore (isn’t that sad?), that square foot price is low, low, low.
