This means you can walk to the Museum of Modern Art, Market Street, the waterfront or the Financial District. Now for the downsides: again like so many of the newer construction in the SOMA area, these units are not family oriented- even if your family consists of just you and… you, if you have more than a room’s worth of furniture (this studio is quite modestly sized), or desire an actual bed (there’s a Murphy bed in the living/bedroom area, and no room for much else). Or if your family is just you and your car, still, too bad: no leased parking. In fact, no parking at all. That means it’s bound to be subject to CC and R’s like: no parties without permission from the HOA, no towels left hanging on deck chairs, and any plant you might want to cultivate better not be one that someone in your building has an allergy to/fear of/aversion to. All this for $529,000 and a monthly HOA of $375.19 per month.
The point then is that such a unit offers very grand amenities to someone looking specifically for this kind of dwelling. If that’s you, take public transportation down there and have yourself a look!
