Redwood City: Drop in New Listings

new-2.jpgMaybe last week was an aberration with its 26 new listings, and we are returning to more of a norm. There is a 40% drop to 16 new homes on the market during July 30-Aug 5, with 11 of those pricing in under the $1,000,000 mark. Nothing really high-end being listed at the moment, but there certainly is plenty to choose from on that score in the existing inventory. My picks for the week, in a variety of prices are:

1971 Cordilleras Road, 2/2, 1040 sf, $749,500
Probably the only home priced this low in Emerald Hills, albeit on busy Cordilleras (access road to Edgewood/280).

326 San Carlos Avenue, 3/2,1610 sf, $899,000
Ready to move into and enjoy the yard and built-in BBQ.

428 Jeter Street, 3/2, 1620 sf, $995,000
Mt. Carmel home with nicely remodeled kitchen and backyard with pool.

24 West Summit Drive, 3/2, 1660 sf, $1,055,000
Emerald Hills home on very large level lot with potential for addition.

250 Upland Road, 4/3, 2300 sf, $1,098,000
Large lot, nice views, and separate au-pair unit.
