Redfin in the NY Times

Glenn Kelman, chief executive of Redfin, commented about the glut of realtors in the U.S. in last week’s NY Times article, “In Realty, Cues for an Exit”.

As Redfin continues to boldly go where no real estate company has gone before, rewarding realtors for customer satisfaction rather than following the traditional commission structure, Kelman talked to the NY Times about the hiring process at Redfin:

“He said that during the first six months of 2007, Redfin received 2,000 resumes and hired 34 agents, bringing the total at Redfin to 40.”
