Dublin: are you a virgin?

virgin1.jpgScared? Confused? Not sure you will be able to do it? Is this your first time? First time looking to buy a home, I mean. Ahhh, yes. I know the feeling. I’ve been there myself. I just bought my first home in January 2007 and I know how overwhelming it can be. Well, over in Dublin they have a cool program that you might want to check into. It’s Dublin’s First Time Homebuyer’s Loan Program. If you have never owned a home and you/your family meet certain income and household size requirements you may qualify. The information packet states that up to 10% of the purchase price of a market rate home or 15% of the purchase price of a below market rate home may be taken as a loan from the City of Dublin.  The best part is that you don’t have to repay the loan until you sell or refinance your home. (Or if you default, which you want to avoid, because that would be bad.) For more information, download Dublin’s First Time Homebuyer Loan Program Packet.

Ok. Feeling more relaxed now? Good. Then go check out some of the open homes listed below this Sunday, October 7th, many of which have been reduced tens of thousands of dollars due to the soft market. All are open 1PM-4PM unless otherwise noted in bold.
