Slowdown in New Listings on the Mid-Peninsula

new-3.jpgSeems we are starting to see the that Autumn slowdown in listings after last week’s jump in inventory. Only 21 newbies on the market with a particularly large drop in both San Carlos and Belmont. These two cities had a 100% increase last week with a combined 25 new listings, while this week their combined total is a paltry 7. Redwood City logs in with twice that at 14 listings. We are seeing a pretty similar split on homes under (9) and over (12) the million-dollar mark, with the high listing going to a 4/3 at 54 West Summit Drive in Emerald Hills at $2,147,000 and the low being a 900sf 2/1 at 615 Madison in Redwood City listed for $619,000. (In all fairness, this last property actually went on the market for $659,000 but the price was dropped the next day to $619,000. I am not sure if this was agent error or seller regret.) Below you will find the new 3 bedrooms homes that just came on the market.
