It’s a really sad commentary on the state of real estate, when the Sunday paper advertises four, count ‘em four different auctions. I regularly write about the REDC auctions that take place, but was amazed to see so many more listings. So for those of you looking for a bargain—and possibly sneers from your neighbors—here is the lowdown on when and where the gavel is going down:
February 10th: Accelerated Marketing Partners will be auctioning 18 new SFR in the Jasper Park Development located at 16885 San Benancia Way in Morgan Hill. This 35 unit development was originally priced from $739,900 to $896,900 but the minimum bids will be from $475,000 to $575,000. Four floor plans to choose from, all 3 or 4 bedroom, ranging in footage from 1,992 to 2,805 sf. To preview the properties, go directly to Jasper Park, open daily from 10 am to 5 pm
Auction will take place at the San Jose Hilton, 300 Almaden Blvd, San Jose. You must register to attend.
February 16th/17th: Hudson & Marshall is holding a 2-day auction, with open house the previous weekend, February 9th/10th from 1 to 3 pm. There are a variety of homes throughout the Bay Area. This auction is a bit different in that you have to submit your bid by February 11, all properties are sold AS IS/WHERE IS with no inspection period, with a 30-day close. Proof of funds or letter of approval is required. Auction will take place at the Oakland Hilton, 1 Hegenberger Road, Oakland. For more information, check the website.
February 17th: Kennedy Wilson will be selling off 46 luxury condominiums in the Raintree Terrace development located at 2915 N. Texas Street in Fairfield. Composed of 136 units that originally listed from $215,990 to $332,990, the minimum bids will begin at $120,000. The condos are either a 1/1, 2/1, or 2/2 and located within a gated community. To preview the properties, go directly to the Raintree Terrace development, open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Auction will take place at the Hilton Concord, 1970 Diamond Blvd, Concord.
