Days are getting longer, which hints sweetly at summer time. Of course, every year I manage to convince myself San Francisco will defy Mark Twain and sparkle with sunshine for three solid months. Who knows? With global warming, maybe Fog City will for once give us 90+ days of pool side weather (at the very least, spa-side).
With that hopeful (?) sentiment in mind, here we have the rare commodity of SF and West San Mateo single-family homes that come with a pool or spa, included.
209 Santa Clara St., Brisbane: 1 bed, 2 bath with cabana and hot tub. $519,000.
1507 44th Ave., SF: 2 be, 1.25 baths in the Outer Sunset with a “green” spa (eco-friendly style, not St. Patrick’s Day). Recently reduced to $759,000.
255 Duncan St., SF: Noe Valley cutie pie with its very own lap pool. 3 bed, 2 bath runs you $1,250,000. Some Realtors in the know have pointed out that at just barely 1000 square feet, the price is a bit… well, in the deep end. But still? A private pool in SF?
325 Ortega St., SF: Enjoy the cabana and spa in the backyard of this spacious 3 bed, 3 bath for $1, 295,000.
2221 Baker St., SF: Moving on up to the rarified Pac Heights, here you have a 5 bed, 4 bath beauty with its very own pool (among a novel length list of other amenities).
Since I can’t afford any of these homes, if anyone needs a lifeguard, I’m certified.
