Jeff Lewis Drops His Asking Price in Los Feliz
Just a couple of weeks ago we reported that reality-TV home-flipper Jeff Lewis’ house in Los Feliz was on the market for $1,525,000. At the time we noted that the price per square foot of $767 seemed a bit high for the neighborhood. Apparently, potential buyers agree, because Jeff has cut the asking price on his house to $1,485,000. That’s not a huge amount — $40,000, or about 2.6 percent — but maybe anything under $1.5 mil just sounds cheaper. Jeff truly is flipping out on his Bravo TV show because he’s so heavily in debt with all the houses he owns, so we’ll have to keep an eye on this one.
Here are a few other Hollywood homes whose prices have been cut this week:
1629 Sunset Plaza Drive, Los Angeles, was $2,695, 000 and then $2,595,000. It’s now at $2,495,000. Could this Hollywood Hills home be a flip? It was purchased in November for $1,325,000. It’s a 5BR, 3.5 bath, 2,667 square feet, according to our friends at Property Shark.
3813 Evans St., Los Angeles. This Los Feliz-area 3BR, 2 bath has been on the market for more than 90 days. It was listed at $995,000 and is now $959,000. Property Shark has the square footage at 2,351; that’s just $408/square foot.
2399 Hercules Drive, Los Angeles, reduced to $1,825,000 from $1,949,000. Located in the Hollywood Hills west of Runyon Canyon, it’s a 4BR, 3.5 bath, 3,218 square feet.
2383 Lyric Ave., Los Angeles; was $1,180,000, now $1,150,000. It’s a 1,470-square-foot 2 BR, 2.5 bath in the Los Feliz area.
