Back on the Market: Jeff Lewis’ Los Feliz House
A few days ago, we reported that Jeff Lewis, the lush-lipped L.A. home-flipper featured in the BravoTV reality show “Flipping Out,” apparently had taken his home at 3427 Ben Lomond Place in Los Angeles off the market after several price reductions. But as of today, the home is back on the market at an even lower price: $1,399,000. That’s a reduction of about $125,000 since it first appeared on the market.
At 1,989 square feet, that works out to just over $700 per foot. Let’s see what else is selling (or not) nearby.
Active listings:
4229 Tracy Street, Los Angeles: At $1,095,000, this 1,744-square-foot home will run you $628 per square foot.
4071 Los Nietos Drive, Los Angeles: This four-bed, three-bath house is on the market for $1,099,000. Property Shark says it has 2,367 square feet, which works out to $464 per foot.
The only comparable recent sale was at 1950 Myra Ave., Los Angeles. This four-bed, three-bath, 2,623-foot house closed escrow Aug. 1 for 1,318,500. That’s $503 per square foot.
Hmmm…looks like Jeff’s house might still be a bit high for the area. Stay tuned.
