I was one of the fools who got sucked in as well back in 2005. I wish I would have followed my first mind and kept the hefty profit I made, but I was a fool. At Borders the other night I counted 15 rows/shelves of personal finance books. 15!!! Help is out there but we prefer to consume. How do you change a culture bent on entitlement? "I work hard...so I deserve...." Yeah, they deserve a lifestyle they cannot afford and stress over it working harder to pay bills they cannot afford. Suckers we are! Yeah we are a nation of suckers and we deserve what we get.
