This is another example of "privatize the profits, socialize the losses." It's infuriating. Perhaps these two institutions should be allowed to fail, wreaking havoc, certainly, but also causing the economic "correction" that is required to keep our economy from going the way of the Roman and British empires. Just a thought. (And I'm not only putting that out there because my share of this bailout will contribute to my not being able to afford a house in LA, while FMae and FMac CEOs Daniel Mudd and Richard Syron celebrate their "ousts" by their million dollar pools.)
