Over on the national blog, we just posted another big analysis of hundreds of thousands of listings and sales. Here are the numbers for Los Angeles County, where winter is still a winning time to list your home for a quick sale, a better chance of selling, and a better price:

    The best time to list may depend on your neighborhood. If your home is in an area with lots of Asians, I've heard that the closer to Chinese New Year, the better.
  • Good work for being the top search homes listed,nice the real estate market will keep on turning...
  • Late summer/early fall looks like the best time to buy - most homes listed, longest days on the market and lowest sale to original listing price.

    Although the listing added and Days on market is lower than median, but the percent sold and sald to original is the highest, so winter is the best season according to the chart,
