Affordable Housing in Irvine? Orangetree Listings
It is time to talk again about the neighborhood in Irvine that has street names that sound like a bowl of fruit. As mentioned yesterday (Irvine’s Orangetree Neighborhood—Open Houses, 10/20 and 10/21), the Orangetree neighborhood is also one of the more affordable areas in Irvine. This is due the the limited square footage in most of these homes, not the price per square foot. Most of the homes in this area are condos, but, as shown below, a few detached residences are available.
When considering buying a home, keeping the homeowners’ association (HOA) fees in mind is alway a good idea, especially when “affordable” is a key consideration. The Orangetree HOA fees run from about $200 to $330.
The Orangetree neighborhood is close to Irvine Valley College, Kaiser Hospital, Irvine Spectrum, Irvine Metro train station, and Oak Creek Golf Course. It is also near the Orange County Great Park.
