Comparing Irvine, Open Houses

If after hearing about the many amenities in Irvine, such as good schools, well-maintained infrastructure, abundant parks and open space, and a high level of public safety, and if you are not put off by the “beige factor,” Irvine might be of interest to you. And if this is the case, a tour of some of the Irvine neighborhoods might help you decide which area in Irvine would match your needs. For comparison purposes, all the homes I have highlighted here are 3 bedroom/2 or 2+ bath, Irvine homes. However, square footage ranges from approximately 1200 SF to over 2100 SF.

Some of these homes have open houses this weekend. However, if the open house times are inconvenient, I suspect that the homeowners will be glad to arrange a viewing at other times. In any case, a drive-by or drive-around is always a good way to get a feel for the neighborhood. For comparison purposes, here are some of the three bedroom homes currently available in different Irvine neighborhoods.

Note: If you want to do a price comparison of available homes in each neighborhood, click on the neighborhood link. A map showing available homes in that neighborhood will appear.

Also, note that, at $348 and $355 per square foot, respectively, 11 Goldenbush in El Camino and 21 Lilliano in Westpark might be the best bangs for your buck in this group. Of course, if you like these areas, this is great. However, if these areas aren’t to your liking, then this doesn’t really matter.
