Signs of The Times

Spring is in the air and things are picking up in the real estate market.  Don’t get me wrong, things aren’t looking great, but maybe improving slightly (at least temporarily).  With this advent, we’re seeing sellers trying new tricks to stand out.  The Daily Press reports that some owners are setting up personal websites, running ads on the radio, one is running an essay contest, golf lessons, and in our area we’re seeing a new tactic. 

Friday Open Houses.  If Saturday and Sunday weren’t enough for you, Fridays are now open for your visiting pleasure.   Now don’t get me wrong, but my guess is most people are working during that time, or are at home with small children.  Neither which are super conducive for house hunting.
