I TOO have been scammed by this Sergio Praslin on a smaller level but sacmmed. he posed as the owner of a property in Pasadena, CA took my deposit money and 4 days later decided he didnt want to rent the place to me. He did and has not returned my security deposit of 850 I took him to court and won my case. as os this date my money has not been returned to me it has now been 5 months. I just wonder how many other victims of this kind of fraud are out there

I was one of the victim of this getleman.I lost my house, and were evicted for the property located at 2251 fulton rd. in the city of pomona.he played one of his tricks and did a quick sale of my house and took all the earning while i was paying mortgage to asset solution.
I reported the fraud to clemente mejia investigator of dept. of consumer affairs real estate fraud and information program county of los angeles. mr. mejia did not followed his department policy and did not assisted me in this case,kissed up.
now this crook and his clan (uncle,appraisar,notary and attorneys) are loose on the street abusing of real estate consumers.

In what you all are talking about, the difference with the seller of this house and Starbucks is that Starbucks doesn’t charge you $6 for a mocha and then while ringing you up, pull out $2 to put in the register to help you pay for it. They post their prices upfront and that’s it, no hidden agenda. It’s still up to the buyer to determine, “Oh, I can make that myself for $1 or go to McDonalds.”

4 dollars vs 1 dollar,300,000 dollars vs 625,000 dollars.Its all the same,its like trying to explain a white lie to your kid…its doesnt matter a lie is a lie!I agree with you julie its unfortunate,but lack of knowledge is what gets people in trouble,they should do there homework.

Yeah but buying a Starbucks and paying $4 for what you could get for $1 is not the same as paying an extra $300k for a house. And, if you’re in hard times with money, I would hope you wouldn’t be going to Starbucks either… that would also be irresponsible. So, it’s irresponsible, just on how large of scale?

The gas in your car,your morning starbucks,now homes,all things that are way over priced…so for anyone of us to say its wrong is a bit hypocritical because we all do it daily the only question is to how large of a scale?
