What to Expect for $400,000 or Less
This post is dedicated to my friend Christopher who pointed out there are some decent buys in the Hills under $400,000. Thank you, Christopher, for inspiring me to take a closer look at what we can get for $300-400,000. There are some nice condos and townhomes available, most are 1 bed 1 bath units somewhere between 700-900 square feet. I was able to find a few larger units as big as 2 bed 2 bath and just over 1,000 square feet. Here are some of my finds:
540 Hawthorne Street #1-C – $399,995
$370 per square foot. 2 bed, 2 bath. 1,081 square feet. On the market 153+ days.
2701 2nd Avenue #105 – $335,000
$399 per square foot. 1 bed 1 bath. 839 square feet. On the market 55+ days.
475 Redwood Street #801 – $389,000
$537 per square foot. 1 bed 1 bath. 725 square feet. On the market 13+ days.
