Homes for Iron Chefs
My son and I are crazy Iron Chef fans. We’ve been watching the ‘Next Chef’ competitions for months and, last night, when the finale brought it down to two chefs, we were deeply divided. We actually turned off Chitty Chitty Bang Bang early and retired to the couch two hours before the event just to bask in all the hype and hooplah. By 9pm the battle was on and we squealed with excitement when the special ingredient was revealed. As the chefs set off in a frenzy to prepare their dishes, we watched in awe. This went on for a while and the lazy narration made us a little sleepy. By 9:50 pm, we were both fast asleep and I awoke around 11pm in sheer horror for we had missed the crowning…unbelievable!! Anyway, first thing this morning I went online and discovered my favorite chef had taken the gold. In honor of Michael Symon and the Iron Chef in all of us, here are some feature picks with the most spectacular of kitchens. Buon Appetito my friends!
