Price Updates- San Diego East County
Major & minor changes
Another price increase to ponder. We still see them from time to time, but far more decreases of course.
3680 Citrus Street La Mesa 91941:
Déjà Vu! Yes, we featured this home Nov 11 at a much lower price. You may balance the benefit of adding units in the large back yard against the noise of the freeway and potential discomfort of a somewhat run down neighborhood. Why the price increase? Not certain but a recent accident in which a car flew off the freeway into the neighborhood has prompted Caltrans to build a barrier and it’s possible that it will give some privacy and a reduction in noise. An upscale new housing development is growing about 1/2 mile away.

Bank owned foreclosure to be sold as is. A fixer with room for expansion. Includes 1 car garage, dual paned windows/slider, kitchen skylight; unknown square feet, heating, cooling, fireplace… Redfin Savings: $5,997*
Does it seem odd that a seller would change a price by less than 2%? Is this a gimmick just to get noticed? Am I the only one annoyed by gimmicks? What about those prices ending in …999? Am I asking too many questions?
