“This is So My Style”
Wallingford makes it back to the Sweet Digs list with this $550,000 Craftsman. I looked at the first exterior photo and then I glanced at the square footage-1,420- and thought, “something does not compute.” Seattle isn’t San Francisco yet when it comes to home prices and properties above half-a-million are impressive in at least one or more aspects; whether it’s home size, lot size, location, view, architecture, interior amenities, etc… I can find you plenty of properties in the Bay Area where the only impressive aspect is the price!

Valerie McFarling, Redfin’s transaction coordinator extraordinaire, looked at my screen and exclaimed, “OMG, that’s so my style!” Interiors as stylish as this one can bring out the inner-Valley girl in anyone, even me. What else do you get for five-fifty-large? A nice, level backyard with a patio and a view of the Seattle skyline.

Living in Wallingford means you’re never too far away from a greasy burger at Dick’s Drive In, a good indie flick at the Guild 45th Theatre, or a first-rate dentist at Sue Vetter Dentistry. Wallingford’s median list price is $582,000 and the average square footage is 1,946. Today’s Sweet Dig last sold during the summer of 2003 for $419,000.
