Green Lake’s Most Bang for Your Buck

We scoured Green Lake for the least expensive-per-square-foot property and found it one block south of Woodland Park. Listed at $439,000 but it comes with a cavernous 2,660 square feet of space (though, half of it is unfinished basement). That’s $165 for each single square foot; not bad considering the neighborhood averages $322/sq ft and the least bang for your buck properties are upwards of $600/sq ft. The house comes with 3 bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms.

During my search for this week’s bang for your buck property I half expected to come across a fixer-upper property; one of those giant monstrosities, falling apart at the seams, and selling at a fire-sale price. Instead, the listing contains 12 professionally photographed images of the interior; an obvious sign of home ownership pride. Check them out yourself. Just about everything has been updated and is included in the purchase price.

This property has only been on the market for four days. It comes with a Green Lake address but it sits near the Wallingford border. Both neighborhoods are brimming with parks, cafes, restaurants, and expensive little houses that Redfin users seem so attracted to…
