North Seattle: Worth Millions

I had a conversation recently about Wallingford houses “finally hitting a million.” It got me thinking about when that barrier was really broken.

So I ran a quick, unscientific search and discovered that the neighborhoods I cover include plenty of places that have sold for at least that magic number, some as early as 1992. So the barrier was broken years before (frequently by property with water views), but the observation is right in one sense: Million-plus homes are becoming more common.
