Water, Water Everywhere – In The Basement
I love little cottages. They seem like warm, cozy, safe places to me. I dream about buying one and doing it up like a miniature gingerbread house, straight out of the English countryside.

But it won’t be this one. Because my dream doesn’t include a damp, smelly basement.
The agent tried made the best of it, claiming that all houses on the east slope of Phinney Ridge had rainwater leaking into the basement (it’s gravity, you know), and mentioning how the owner still stores stuff down there on palettes.
Nice try, but, no. Just…no.
