Bainbridge Island: La Quinta?

It’s big, it’s boxy and it looks like a cross between La Quinta Inn and the Macaroni Grill, but for those who love to tee up, this house just may be the it girl of golf course living. It’s at the Wing Point Golf Club, where big fairways and big homes abound. I know one lady over there that has a Beverly Hillbillies style formal entryway complete with rounded staircase suitable for descending debutants. Although I can’t get in right now (due to dearth of open houses on Bainbridge at the moment) this home appears to have manly-sized rooms that occupy 3878 square feet of living space, a granite island grand enough to accommodate all the neighbors for pomegranate martinis and spinach dip, and a master suite has a view of the golf course in all of its chem-green glory. For family fun, you can join Wing Point even if you don’t golf. For about $2500 a year, go ahead and buy a social membership to the pool and tennis courts. The family can splash around in the outdoor pool (weather permitting) from May to October while you suck down chilled beverages at the snack bar. All in all, if you like the golfing lifestyle and want to attempt to simulate that poolside lounging experience on Bainbridge, this may be the place for you.
