Sweet Digs: Open this Weekend on Queen Anne

blog%205 14 Sweet Digs: Open this Weekend on Queen Anne

This bungalow was just listed this week and it’s open this Sunday, May 13, 1-4pm. With a prime location at the top of Queen Anne hill (prime if you don’t mind living near the cemetery) and with a price just over $500K, my bet is this house will move fast. I love the strategically placed passersby in the listing photo, they just give me the sweet neighborhood warm and fuzzies. It would have been even better if instead of the normal stroller mom was pushing one of those yuppie baby mobiles with bicycle tires as wheels. Add a grande non-fat vanilla latte and you’ve got quintessential Queen Anne.

I like it when agents stage a house, I find it helps me figure out how much stuff I’ll need to buy or get rid of to make the place work for me. The listing photos are furniture-free so if you’re looking for inspiration on how to fill those empty rooms check out normalroom.com, it has photos of rooms around the world, you can even upload your own pics.

Thanks for the note Kris, I checked out the the Windermere site and the photos on that site and Refin's are identical, Redfin's photos also come from the NWMLS database. The disclaimer on the Windermere site notes that "this is a photo of the house taken in the 1990's before the trees were planted". That quote appears to me to be the only piece of information lacking from the Redfin site, all else looks identical, why do you want Redfin to remove the listing? I would think the more exposure your listing gets, the more offers and the better the final price would be.

I am the listing agent on this property and I have asked Redfin to remove the listing. The photo that is shown was taken 20 years ago--the house has been a rental for the past 17 years and shows it. This photo is the last photo to be seen on both the Windermere site and NWMLS site and has a disclaimer on both sites that the purpose of this photo is to show what the house looks like behind all of the trees that are currently blocking it.
Please go to the Windermere site and look at the current picture of the house so you won't be disappointed if you should decide to go to the open house. Thank you.
