Seller’s Comments

Coffee Shop of Choice: Top Pot Doughnuts, of course. It’s got the best doughnuts in town, including the deadly Double Trouble, which will give you a sugar high for a minimum of four hours. Besides the doughnuts, it’s a great little neighborhood coffee shop on a quiet street just two blocks away from the condo.

Favorite Restaurant in the Area: Just up the hill is the Deluxe bar and grill, which is like a sixties burger joint that’s been updated with expensive mixed drinks. It’s my standby for a good salad and a beer, and it’s also got great burgers.

Favorite Places to Go: I love to go running through Volunteer Park and down around the Arboretum. It’s beautiful any time of year, and the hills keep me in shape.

Best Features of the Home: The view. When you walk in it’s the first thing that catches your eye, because you can see the entire city, Lake Union, and the Olympic Mountains. I’ve had friends over to watch the Fourth of July fireworks and the sailboats races on Lake Union. My favorite part of the view, though, is watching the seaplanes land on the lake in the summer.

Favorite Room: The living room is the best. The condo has an open floorplan, so not only do you get the view when you’re cooking but it’s a great space to entertain.

Any Remodeling Since Last Sale Price: New Hunter Douglas blinds and new security doors in the garage. I bought it new three years ago, so it hasn’t needed much.

Most Romantic Spot: In front of the fireplace.

What’s in the Neighborhood: It’s Capitol Hill- everything’s in the neighborhood.

What I Will Miss the Most: Walking up to Broadway for a quick meal, or meeting a friend at the Summit House bar on a summer evening. I really love walking around the neighborhood here and I’ll miss it.
