Kirkland Extreme Makeover Scheduled to Air

Kirkland Home airs on Extreme Makeover Home Edition

So, it wasn’t too long ago that the ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition crew selected Kirkland’s own Connie Chapin to be the recipient of an extensive home makeover. In fact, it was the end of September and upon finishing the job (which turned out to be a bigger project than they initially figured), the crew left, vowing never to work in our area again except during the good weather months. (Hey guys! That leaves August.) Having battled our Pacific Northwest weather, toxic paint and asbestos, the crew transformed the Chapin home from a 2,060 square foot home to a 3,500 square foot home, complete with detached garage and swimming pool.

Well, mark your calendars because the Kirkland episode is coming up. You can see the show on ABC, Sunday, December 16th at 8:00 pm.  Just in case you’re a hardcore series fan (and want to contribute to a good cause at the same time), you can watch the show air with Connie Chapin herself and listen to Q & A at the Kirkland Performing Arts Center. Tickets start at $10 each with proceeds to benefit Hopelink. Additional details on the fundraiser can be found on the Kirkland city website.

2 of the best companies from Anacortes participated in this makeover – Savage Roofing and Garner Landscaping! I visit in that area often and feel you have done a great job in spite of the terrible weather.
