Coffee Shop of Choice:
We often go down to Cupcake Royale, near the (Alaska) Junction for a cupcake and coffee.
Favorite restaurant in the area:
Circa, over on Admiral and California, is wonderful; they have the best menu and the atmosphere is top notch!
Favorite Places to Go:
Anywhere along Alki Ave or the Hiawatha Playfield are favorites with us. We also often walk to the water taxi to get Downtown.
What’s in the neighborhood:
A better question would be: what’s not in the neighborhood? Within a block you’ll find the Metropolitan Market, Safeway, Bartell’s, Admiral Theater, tons of restaurants (including Italian, Mexican and Thai), Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, Fairmount park, the Seattle Public Library, a busline to downtown, dry cleaners, Blockbuster, and much more!
Best features of the home:
The rooftop deck. Going up in the late afternoon or early evening in the summer is really hard to beat. We also have great views of the New Year’s and 4th of July Fireworks (Seattle Center and Elliot Bay).
Favorite room:
The bedroom, because the color is so relaxing.
Most Romantic Spot:
Watching the sun set over the Olympics from the rooftop deck.
Any Remodeling Since Last Sale Price:
No remodeling. The additions made were the chandelier, the blinds in the bedroom, the storage unit in the bathroom, and the paint.
What I will miss the most:
The rooftop deck mostly, location was really great too.
