The place in Kirkland is 15 years newer than the SF one, and cheaper per sqft. This makes Kirkland look great!

The SD place looks like a rip off at that price. $800 a sqft?

its not apples to apples, the kirkland unit is 2x as big as the san diego unit, brand new and in one of the best areas in the state. how is it even possible to have a 2bdrm in 624 sq ft in america? 800' is usually a squeeze.

but yes, the weather is a lot nicer in SD and thanks for dispelling some myths about affordability. if seattlites want sun, just give up a little space.
