Bloomsday: Past Sales near the Washington Park Arboretum

RhodieIt’s bloom time at the Washington Park Arboretum, one of Seattle’s greenest — and most beautiful — tracts. Located at the base of Madison Valley and stretching as far north as Montlake, the Arboretum covers 230 acres of ground, cut through with trails, creeks, and all kinds of native plants.

Want to take a walk? Check out the Trail Map [PDF]. You can plan both short and long routes, all of which take you through some of the most serene property in Seattle.

Need a garden guide? Click here for month-by-month maps of plant peak times. This month, you can feast your eyes on rock roses and rhododenrons (let’s hear it for the Washington State Flower!), among other June bloomers.
