Mercer Island Marvels
I get giddy when I review home listings on Mercer Island. I don’t know if it’s the proximately to water or the central, everything-goes vibe the communities portrays, but the home builders are so creative on the island. Everything from modern-chic to eco-geek goes.
Here are new (and one oldie) Mercer Island listings that are just simply marvelous.
7646 N Mercer Way – $1,399,000
4 bed, 3.5 bath, New construction
This is the oldie of the bunch. The home is gorgeous. Bright. Creative. Plush. I want this house. The price was just reduced by $149,000. Somebody buy it and then invite me over for dinner! Thanks.
2443 63 Ave SE – $995,000
3 bed, 2.5 bath, Late 1980’s remodel
This home features a bright green backyard with spa and a master bathroom right out of a Pottery Barn catalog.
5045 W Mercer Way – $729,000
3 bed, 2 bath, Ahead of it’s time 1970’s construction
It’s been updated a few times to reflect the changing times, but the home still captures the 1970’s charm of lush green gardens (see picture), a creek side location, lots of natural light and a sun parlor.
