West Seattle Price Reductions

More price reductions in West Seattle:

2634 48th Ave SW (3 bed, 2 bath, 1,320 sf, $490K, down from $498K)

This one is about five blocks from all the action at California and Admiral, and only about two blocks from a small mailing center and coffee shop. It’s right next to Admiral, which is a moderately busy street, so you have the advantage of easy access to the main road (and two blocks to a bus stop) if you don’t mind the traffic. According to the listing, it has apparently been completely redone–and they’ll even throw in a flat screen TV! Given the price reduction, the free TV, and its having been listed for 58 days, I’d say the seller is motivated.

4521 SW Massachusetts St (4 bed, 3.25 bath, 3,000 sf, $1,099,500, down from $1,150,000)

Put simply, this is a big house in a quiet neighborhood that’s close to everything. The North Admiral part of West Seattle is nice, but this house is in one of the quietest areas with the best views. It is about seven blocks to Hamilton Viewpoint Park, where you can catch the Ivar’s fireworks on the 4th of July, and it’s about eight blocks to groceries, food, etc. It has apparently been significantly redone: the pictures show some luxurious remodeling, and it’s selling for $474,500 more than it sold for in 2005 ($625K).

3231 63rd Ave SW (4 bed, 2.25 bath, 2,070 sf, $705K, down from $720K)

This one has a huge backyard and is two blocks from Alki beach. It has apparently also had lots of recently updated internals like plumbing, electrical, computer network cable, and some high quality appliances. It has been on the market for 38 days, so the seller may be willing to bargain.
