Get Ready for a Night Out
Paint the town tonight for the 25th Anniversary of National Night Out, a drug and crime–prevention initiative that gets folks out of their homes and onto the streets for food, fun, and general neighborliness. Looking for a party in your area? Here’s the rundown so far:
Ballard

- 11th Ave. & NW 60th to 61st
Central District
As reported in the Central District News:
- 25th Ave. & E. Spring, for residents of of the 24th to 26th and Marion to Union area; no time listed
- 21st Ave. & E. Union (outside Central Cinema), for folks who live on 21st and 22nd between Olive and Marion; 6 to 9 p.m.
- 18th Ave. & E. Union (outside Tougo Coffee Co.), for the whole CD, if they so choose; events start at 4 p.m.
West Seattle
More than 200 parties have been registered on the Westside, says the West Seattle Blog. Sounds like you can walk out your door and find a fête.
Green Lake

openly carrying a firearm on my hip is pretty good deterrent to crime. yes, it is legal. WA is a open carry state.
posting a sign at your residence that reads…..unauthorized entry will be met with armed force.
